A group of Mass Communication students from CIC recently visited Youm7 as part of a field trip to connect academic studies with professional media experience. The visit gave students an inside look at the operations of a leading newsroom.
The tour began in the office of Editor-in-Chief Abdel Fattah Abdel Monem, who welcomed the students and explained the capabilities of Youm7’s studio, highlighting its role in producing diverse visual content across the organization’s platforms.
Students toured the newsroom and Youm7 TV Studio, learning about editorial workflows, news production, and podcast creation, and took commemorative photos to mark the occasion.
Executive Editor Dandrawy El-Hawary highlighted the newsroom’s operations and Youm7’s use of AI in journalism, stressing the importance of combining academic learning with practical skills.
