CIC Celebrates its 18th Annual Convocation

Yesterday, the Canadian International College (CIC) proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2025, marking a milestone in the journey of our students and community. The ceremony reflected CIC’s unwavering commitment to excellence, global partnerships, and empowering the next generation of leaders.

Honoring Our Esteemed Guests

We were privileged to welcome distinguished delegates from our partner university, Cape Breton University (CBU):

  • The Honorable David Dingwall, 7th President and Vice Chancellor of CBU

  • Ms. Bylinda Whiting, Registrar of CBU

  • Mr. Joey Lever, Special Assistant to the President of CBU

We were also deeply honored by the presence of H.E. Ulric Shannon, the Canadian Ambassador to Egypt, whose continued support—alongside the Canadian Embassy in Cairo—underscores the deep partnership between CIC and Canadian institutions. 🇨🇦🇪🇬

Celebrating Excellence

The event featured special honors that added gravitas to the convocation:

  • The conferral of an Honorary Doctorate upon the renowned Egyptian author Dr. Reem Bassiouney, celebrating her remarkable contributions to literature and culture.

  • The presentation of the CIC Excellency Award to celebrated sports icon Ibrahim Fayek, in honor of his outstanding achievements and role as a source of inspiration for youth (see-edu.news coverage and Al Wafd report).

A Night to Remember

This remarkable event was made possible with the generous sponsorship of Air Cairo, whose support ensured an unforgettable celebration for our graduates, families, and community.

As the Class of 2025 turns the page to begin their new journeys, CIC stands proud of their accomplishments and confident in their bright futures.

Here’s to new beginnings, boundless opportunities, and the lifelong pride of being part of the CIC family.
