For the third year running, the Faculty of Media at the Canadian International College (CIC) teamed up with the National Council for Women to observe how women are portrayed in Ramadan dramas and advertisements for 2025.
This year, the Faculty spearheaded the monitoring efforts, involving a group of exceptional students who showcased dedication, professionalism, and sharp analytical skills in evaluating Egyptian media content.

The project was carried out under the guidance of Dr. Marwa Gamal, Head of the Department of Audio-Visual Media, and Dr. Donia Tarek, faculty member of the department. The Faculty was honored by the presence of Dr. Nermeen El Azrak, Dean of the Faculty of Media, who offered her full support and encouragement to the students throughout the initiative.
This participation underscores CIC Media’s commitment to shaping a new generation of thoughtful, responsible media professionals and highlights the Faculty’s active role in national initiatives that empower women and foster a positive, accurate portrayal of them in media.
