As part of its preparations for the upcoming 2025 Senate elections, the National Media Authority has announced the formation of a specialized committee to monitor and evaluate media coverage during the electoral process.
The committee will be chaired by Dr. Magy El-Helwany, Chairperson of the Canadian International College (CIC), who will lead efforts to track and analyze the media content published across various outlets. The focus will be on assessing adherence to professional standards and examining the role of media in raising public awareness and encouraging positive participation in the elections.
This initiative reflects the Authority’s commitment to ensuring responsible and transparent media practices throughout all phases of the electoral process
