Under the esteemed patronage of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Mamdouh El Kady, Chairman of the CIC Board of Directors, the Faculty of Mass Communication at CIC is set to launch its 9th annual International Scientific Conference tomorrow, Thursday, December 11th.
This year, the conference is held under the compelling title: “Immersive Media in the Digital Environment for Opportunities and Challenges.”
The event will bring together an elite assembly of prominent deans, editors-in-chief, researchers, and local and international experts in Artificial Intelligence and Media. The purpose of this gathering is to offer deep insights that will shape the future of interactive media and explore how to enhance the communication experience in our rapidly accelerating digital world.

Prof. Dr. Magy El-Helwary, President of the Conference, clarified that the event aims to discuss the latest innovations in immersive media technologies and their practical applications. Furthermore, it will spotlight the valuable opportunities and pressing challenges faced by media institutions amidst this unprecedented technological advancement.
For her part, Prof. Dr. Nermine El Azrak, Conference Secretary-General and Dean of Mass Communication, confirmed the significant volume of participation this year from experts and researchers across the globe. She noted that the discussion will revolve around the future of interactive media and the media’s role in fostering positive audience engagement to elevate the digital communication experience.

Dr. Amal El-Ghazawy, Vice Chairman of the CIC Media Board of Directors, pointed out a crucial highlight the organization of specialized training workshops for students from various universities. Experts in AI and Immersive Media will provide creative training to students on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality techniques, directly linking them with practical and scientific expertise in modern technology.
Notably, the conference program is rich and diverse, featuring three discussion sessions in Arabic, two discussion sessions in English, along with four research sessions, including two specialized scientific sessions and two sessions dedicated to students to enrich their experience.
