Dr. Ibrahim Ashraf Mohamed El-Kholy, a researcher at the Canadian International College, has been honored with the International Award for Excellence in Research for his outstanding thesis titled:
“Evaluating Media Treatment of Disability Issues: A Case Study on the Representation of Individuals with Disabilities.”
The study was conducted at the Institute of Arab Research and Studies – Arab League – Egypt, and tackled how media platforms address and portray people with disabilities, offering critical insights into diversity and inclusion in media narratives.
This award celebrates the importance of media research that fosters inclusive representation and highlights the pivotal role of media scholars in shaping a more equitable media landscape.
