In a step aimed at reinforcing media professionalism and integrity, Dr. Tarek Saada, Head of the Media Syndicate and Member of the Senate, has issued a decision to form a specialized high-level committee to monitor and assess media performance throughout the coverage of the 2025 Senate elections.
The committee brings together a distinguished group of leading academics and media experts in Egypt, all with extensive experience in analyzing media discourse and evaluating the professional standards of various media outlets. Among the appointed members is Dr. Amal El Ghazawy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at CIC, along with other prominent figures in the fields of political media and electoral coverage.
This initiative comes as part of the national preparations for the upcoming elections and reflects the Syndicate’s ongoing commitment to promoting transparency, responsible journalism, and adherence to ethical media practices during all phases of the electoral process.
