The Audio-Visual Media Program at the Canadian Institute of Modern Media Technology is committed to the continuous development of academic, professional, creative, and technological aspects to prepare specialized media cadres capable of competing in the radio and television labor market, committed to professional ethics, while promoting scientific research and distinguished media production to serve society and achieve development goals..

  1. Providing students with the theoretical and practical knowledge to understand developments in the audio-visual media industry and their impact on addressing societal issues.
  2. Develop technical and creative skills in the fields of audio and visual media, while mastering the use of the latest digital technology and media production applications.
  3. Employing scientific research methods in studying and analyzing media and public phenomena, thus contributing to improving the quality of audio and visual content.
  4. Promote commitment to ethical and professional standards and laws regulating media work, and familiarity with relevant professional codes.
  5. Preparing students to master the Arabic language and at least one foreign language to ensure efficient media communication with local and international audiences.
  6. Developing students’ critical and creative thinking in producing and processing media messages, while adhering to objectivity, accuracy, and credibility.
  7. Providing students with the knowledge necessary to keep up with global trends in media production and leverage them to develop their professional practices.
  8. Enabling students to efficiently engage with modern information sources and broadcasting platforms, and employing them to expand the scope of the media message.
  9. Developing teamwork, leadership and initiative skills to enhance their ability to produce collaborative media.
  10. Raising awareness of political, social, cultural, and economic changes at the local, regional, and international levels, enabling them to produce media content that reflects a deep understanding of these issues.
