The Mechanical Engineering Department at the Canadian International College (CIC) organized the SUMO Robot Battle Competition on Tuesday, 16 December, under the supervision of Dr. Magdy Naiem and Eng. Aya Ahmed.
The competition brought together students in an engaging and competitive environment that highlighted their creativity, technical expertise, and enthusiasm for hands-on engineering. Participants demonstrated innovative design approaches, problem-solving skills, and practical application of mechanical and robotic concepts through their robot battles.
The event reflects CIC’s commitment to experiential learning and providing students with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world, interactive settings that foster innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence.
