The Architecture Department at CIC extends its sincere appreciation to the Cairo Stadium Indoor Halls Complex and its Chairman, Mr. Waleed Abdel Latif, for their generous hospitality in hosting the Architectural students during their field visit to the main indoor halls.
The visit took place as part of the Structural Architectural Design course under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Atif (Dean of Engineering CIC) and Dr. Dalia Magdy. It offered students a valuable opportunity to closely explore the functional and structural aspects of the indoor hall, observe the various structural systems covering the main arena and spectator stands, and tour essential facilities such as commentator zones, players’ and referees’ entrances, and the press conference hall.
