In a new achievement added to its record of academic excellence, the Computer Science Program at CIC honored a number of its distinguished students who participated in the third round of the Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative (DEPI). The recognition came in appreciation of their outstanding performance and graduation projects, which reflected high technical competence and an innovative spirit that prepared them for the job market.
The honor acknowledged their efforts throughout the initiative, which aims to develop digital skills and support digital transformation in Egypt. In this context, Dr. Sayed Abdel Gaber, Dean of the Computer Science, praised the students’ exceptional performance, emphasizing that their achievements reflect the quality of education at CIC and demonstrate their ability to apply academic knowledge to practical solutions aligned with rapid technological advancements.
The third round of the initiative witnessed remarkable student achievements. Student Amr Atef Abdullah, Level Three, Mobile and Cloud Computing major, was recognized after receiving the Best Graduation Project Award in the Software Development track. He earned this recognition for his technical excellence and creativity in delivering an innovative project that meets market needs.
Student Mahmoud Khaled Hegazy, Level Four, Mobile and Cloud Computing major, was also honored after receiving the Top Achiever title in the initiative. This recognition came in acknowledgment of his academic excellence and strong commitment throughout the program.
