CIC Students Launch “LINKA” Campaign to Strengthen Real-Life Social Connections

Mass Communication Students at CIC launched LINKA, an awareness campaign promoting real-world social interaction and reducing reliance on digital communication.

The campaign introduces an interactive box concept where participants prepare food or drinks together, alongside games and challenges designed to encourage communication, teamwork, and bonding—even among strangers.

LINKA hosted several on-campus activities, including a communal iftar and a pre-Ramadan faculty event featuring shared dessert decoration and drink preparation, all aimed at fostering connection through hands-on experiences.

The initiative also extended to community work in collaboration with Sonaa El Kheir Foundation, where students helped pack Ramadan food boxes, reinforcing values of teamwork and social responsibility.

Workshops such as “Make Your Own Pizza” and Eid-themed dessert decoration further encouraged interaction in a relaxed, collaborative environment, supporting LINKA’s goal of building meaningful human connections beyond screens.
