The School of MassComm hosted a distinguished panel of industry leaders, including Emad El-Din Hussein, Editor-in-Chief of Al Shorouk; Maged Mounir, Editor-in-Chief of Al Ahram; Ola El Shafie, Chairwoman of Youm7; Dr. Emad Rabie, Head of Drama Production at United Media Services; media personality Reham Ayad; sports presenter Hany Hathout; writer Fatma Naoot; actor Tarek El Ebiary; TV presenter Sally Fouad; and composer Amr Selim. The judges praised the students’ creativity and presentation skills. Outstanding projects included the awareness campaign “Don’t Return, Don’t Replace”, addressing the issue of returning foster children to care homes, as well as the documentary films Dawar and Maqsoom.

The School of Engineering achieved a remarkable milestone as Communications and Electronics Engineering students unveiled the first fully student-built drone developed under the supervision of the Egyptian Ministry of Defense. The project integrates advanced drone technology with wireless communication systems designed for the future of 6G networks.

The Graduation Week concluded at the Sheikh Zayed campus with the announcement of the winning projects, including Kingway, Nepta, and Ma’ak, an innovative application providing integrated transportation and social care services for elderly people and individuals with mobility disabilities. The closing ceremony was attended by actor Hazem Ehab and TV presenter Lynn El Helwany, who joined the judging panels and encouraged students throughout the event.
