The School of Mass Communication at CIC has signed a cooperation protocol with the Arab Federation for Media to strengthen the training and professional development of future media professionals in line with the rapid evolution of digital media.
The protocol was signed by Dr. Yousef Al Omairi, President of the Arab Federation for Media, and Dr. Nermeen El Azraq, Dean of Mass Communication at CIC, in the presence of Dr. Magi El Helwany, Chair of the Board of CIC Mass Communication, Dr. Amal El Ghazawy, Media Advisor at CIC, and Dr. Sally Gad, Secretary General of the Arab Federation for Media.
The partnership aims to bridge academic learning with industry practice through specialized workshops, training programs, conferences, and field training opportunities that equip students with the practical skills required by today’s media industry.
The agreement also focuses on supporting emerging media talent through creative initiatives, joint media projects, and community-focused activities while encouraging the exchange of academic and professional expertise.
This collaboration reflects CIC’s commitment to providing students with hands-on learning experiences and preparing a new generation of media professionals ready to lead in the digital era.
