The Canadian International College (CIC) proudly welcomed Dr. Amr Othman, Chairman of the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction, on campus for the signing of a joint cooperation
protocol. The event was also attended by Dr. Ibrahim Askar, Director of Programs at the Fund, alongside a distinguished delegation.
This partnership marks a significant strategic step in strengthening the social role of academic institutions and reinforcing their responsibility toward sustainable development. At the forefront of this collaboration is raising awareness about the dangers of addiction, a critical issue impacting communities—especially youth.

The agreement reflects a shared commitment to using academic, research, and media strengths to serve society, spread awareness, and empower youth with knowledge and responsibility.
CIC appreciates the Fund’s efforts and looks forward to shaping responsible, impactful graduates.
