Mass Communication- CIC hosted a specialized awareness seminar organized by the “Radar” graduation project from the Public Relations and Advertising Department, focusing on cybercrime risks and digital safety, with strong student engagement and participation from experts in executive, religious, and media fields.
The event addressed key topics such as identity theft, cyber extortion, information security, and safe digital behavior, aiming to raise awareness among Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
Speakers included Major General Hamed Mohamed Fayez, journalist Fatma Naoot, Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed, cybersecurity consultant Mohamed Mansour, and religious representatives Mr. Hussein El Qady and Father Eshaya Lamai, all emphasizing the importance of awareness, ethics, and protection in the digital space.
Through initiatives like “Radar,” CIC continues to empower its students to address real-world challenges and contribute to building a safer and more aware digital society.
